The Aurora Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, was created by North Star Community Credit Union to strengthen communities and support the people whose work makes a difference every day. Building upon North Star’s long-standing commitment to People Helping People, the foundation creates new opportunities to invest in programs, organizations and initiatives that promote unity, economic stability, education and community development.

The Aurora Community Foundation represents the next chapter of that commitment. By bringing together charitable giving, strategic partnerships, educational opportunities and community development initiatives, the foundation is working to create meaningful and lasting impact throughout North Dakota and the surrounding region.

We are dedicated to serving the people who serve others - supporting agricultural communities, military members and families, educators, first responders and cooperatives through programs that promote unity, economic stability, education and community development.
