Joann Bergrud, Chief Operations Officer, has been the driving force behind the success of several major operational projects at North Star Community Credit Union, ranging from product development and system upgrades to building maintenance and branch expansion, as well as implementing overall process improvements. Her hands-on leadership and forward-thinking approach have significantly contributed to the growth and success of the credit union, always prioritizing the satisfaction and needs of our members.

Joann was a key part of the success of the recent core system upgrade completed in 2024. Her leadership throughout this complex transition ensured minimal disruption for members while streamlining internal processes and enhancing system capabilities. Her ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions has set a new standard for operational excellence.

Her leadership was pivotal in the planning and execution of the Devils Lake and Minot branch build, both state-of-the-art facilities designed to better serve members and reflect the credit union’s commitment to community growth.
