Dear North Star Community Credit Union Member,
After careful consideration and to ensure the health and well-being of our members, employees and the communities we serve, we have made the decision to close our branch lobbies in our communities that have drive-throughs and utilize drive-throughs only beginning Monday, March 23rd. Lobbies in those communities will be accessible by appointment only. The branches that do not have drive-throughs will remain open until further notice and we encourage members to limit visits if they are feeling unwell.
Experts believe that if we all temporarily limit close personal contact with those outside our households, everyone will benefit as the precautionary step will slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Branch drive-up facilities will be available during regular hours and Branch lobby access will be by appointment only for the following branches:
Rugby * Bottineau * Cavalier * Grafton
Minot 1819 S Broadway * Minot AFB * Velva
Although this was not an easy decision, we felt it was the right decision to safeguard the health and well-being of our members and employees while still enabling us to continue to fulfill our mission of serving members. While we recognize that limiting in-person lobby services may be an inconvenience, please be assured that we offer many 24/7 account access options for you, including night drop access, the NSCCU Mobile App and Anytime Online service. Our contact center and online chat will remain open during regular hours as well. Many deposit and loan accounts can be opened by applying online at nsccu.com. You can find directions to any of our NSCCU ATMs and free Money Pass ATMs on our website.
We will continue to monitor public health guidance and will update our website as well as our social media platforms and Facebook with the most up-to-date information related to North Star’s actions, including any changes to service availability and hours that may affect members.
If you’ve been impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19) and need our support, we’re here to help with guidance and other assistive means. We have programs available to assist affected members such as short-term loans, loan extensions, Visa skip-a-payment and line-of-credit increases and other options.
